Description

The SCM DMC SD 90 delivers maximum performance for medium to high-production companies, offering the most extensive range of machining options in the SD series. Unlike earlier models, the SD 90 is fully configurable with a wide selection of operating units—including planing units, large-diameter rollers (175, 220, 250, 320 mm), pad units and dedicated superfinishing units—making it capable of top-level calibrating, sanding, and finishing on solid wood, veneer, lacquer, and painted surfaces. Its advanced superfinishing unit uses a Chevron belt and the “Mesar” electronic sectional pad to ensure superior cooling, consistent contact, and exceptional surface quality, especially on painted and high-gloss components—performance far beyond the SD 70’s long-belt finishing capabilities. The machine’s integrated electro-fan reduces overall footprint and noise, while the Eye-S touch-screen control system with 120 programmable setups provides the same intuitive operation found on the SD 70 but matched with far greater industrial versatility.
